Have to face few tough meetings today and also the work as coaches for my junior staff. The meeting today was damn hard. First of all, my colleague (Lady H) told me that the client has so many complaints about me, because it seems that I don't really plan well in organizing the vendors as my role in project as Project Manager. My big boss also got some some negative remarks from our pay master (client) the CTO that said he seems like to make fuzz and exaggerate the simple issues to become big.
My response is very simple, we are like whore or GRO, instead of giving the full services you must make client climax. In our case, instead of making and ensuring the project is successful you have to make sure you take care the client feeling. In this case, you have to serve them like a royalty.
Talking about Doggy Dealing. Actually today I just meet a really cunning, fox, old and doggy guy. They guy who like to cheat left and right for the sake of money. Since that the guy is part of the shareholders of the company. The trick is very simple, u can claim that u are able to deliver heaven but when the time to deliver work, you try to squeeze the scopes and blame others for incompetency. However they still chase for the money. At the end of the day, I don't give a damn with this shit and live has to move on as I hope I can see the light at the end of the tunnel.
The PM life - managing the project is easy for managing the people is damn hard.
